The SOA ia an annual protest each Nov.20-21st
and has caused the School of America's to be recently renamed
the Western Hemisphere Institiute for Security Cooperation
... or WHINSEC; but since "Close Down the Western Hemisphere
Institiute for Security Cooperation" isn't very catchy,
protestors simply refer to the S.O.A. as the School of Assasins.
The protest drew a record 16,000 plus participants this year.
If you don't know why people would want to close down
a US Military installation on our own soil .. you should watch
this. WHINSEC has trained numerous
international war criminals with your tax money; in the
name of "security" in the name of "freedom"
& "democracy". This school teaches foriegn
dictators and henchmen how to murder & torture in your
name.

Anti Autoritarians Marched;
Workers got Sabatoged and the millions anticipated unfortunately
couldn't afford to take off work that day. Some day they will
realize that they can't afford not to.
Up to 30 buses were diverted by police and not even allowed
to stop long enough to drop off Marchers.

This is several days of Democratic
National Convention protest Jam packed into a 33 min video.
Highlights from the Critical Mass Bike Ride, The DNC2RNC March
leaving Boston, several planned marches and a few not so planned
happinin's.
What's important:
1) The media reported "Burning Bush
Effigy" was actually A Bush / Kerry Effigy. Everyone
can relax now... the Media has taken it's place in the Unified
Democratic Front.
2) Dennis Kucinich has made a career out
of fighting "The Man" for "The People"...
I guess he's tired of that now... not only is he willing to
endorse the Democratic Platform that he was oh so eager to
shred when it was the Republican Platform; he'll also be working
hard to get Kerry ReElected in 2008.
3) Regardless of what it says on my Press
Pass; I can assure you that my name's Not
Dennis Kucinich.

Resident Bush visited Charleston,
WV for an afternoon of lying to potential voters. The trip
was labled a "Presidential Visit" instead of a "Campaign
Visit" ... meaning TAXPAYERS PAID FOR IT.
Protests lasted through out the day even though George Bush
was only in town a couple hours. Tickets to the speech at
the State Capitol grounds were both extremely hard to get
AND completly unnecessary.

On the third day of the G8,
the March for a Free Palestine began at Overlook Park as the
activists expressed their discontent with the wall in Israel,
75 people including a small black bloc broke away from the
march and took over the causeway. The group, followed by an
enormous police and military presence, walked over several
bridges, onto St. Simon's Island, down Sea Island Road and
faced off with the police at the military entrance to Sea

On the third day of the G8, the March for a Free
Palestine began at Overlook Park with a story circle before
being overshadowed by the Breakaway March to Sea Island. Many
stories relating the Occupation of Palestine to the Occupation
of Iraq to the Occupation of Brunswick.

Activists wanted to legally
walk the crosswalks at the intersection of route 17 &
the Causeway, the only road in & out of Sea Island, and
were denied. Negotiations lead to an end in our favor and
the Causeway and RT 17 traffic was closed down for about 2
hours because the police needed the space to repress us. ~ More

On 6/5, the Florida
Coalition for Peace and Justice completed its 140 mile walk
for global justice from its Teaching Farm in Graham, Florida
to Brunswick, Georgia for the G8 Summit. Despite the closure
of the bridge to pedestrian traffic and approximately one hundred
riot police practicing nearby, the peacewalk crossed the bridge
