Grocery Store Wars
Submitted by FluxRostrum on Sun, 01/09/2011 - 6:46pmNot long ago in a supermarket not so far away...there broke out...STORE WARS!!
Awesome spoof video relating Star Wars to the current and ever increasing battle between organic farming and factory farming, GMO foods while explaining the "dark side of the farm" and much more. A Very well done video with a lot of altered funny names and it's amazing how they are all food related but sound so much like the original. A lot of thought and effort went into this video. A MUST see for any Star Wars fan and those interested in real health.

Time Again .. for Sustainability
Submitted by FluxRostrum on Fri, 04/09/2010 - 11:44pm~ download
Time Again Farms sits just 1 mile from the Appalachian Trail and 2 miles from Intestate 81. It could be a lot of things but odds are in favor of a new McMansion sub division. Or not ... saving this 200 year old farm house and 180 acre farm is the goal of Tony Sferlazza.

BioTech 2005 ~ Percy Schmeiser Farmer Speak Out
Submitted by FluxRostrum on Mon, 06/27/2005 - 7:20pmPercy Schmeiser has been growing canola for 40 years. He's been experimenting, developing his own varieties, using his own seed. Then Monsanto, the giant multinational agro-chemical company that is at the forefront of developing genetically modified foods, accused him of patent infringement and demanded restitution for its seeds. They stole his plants, seeds & research because of cross pollenation with GMO plants that other people had planted within pollenaton range. If GMO's touch your crops... Monsanto owns your crop and will sue you. Pollenation is not containable. "I never put those plants on my land," says Schmeiser. "The question is, where do Monsanto's rights end and mine begin?"
Percy gives a full account of the specific alegations and breaks down the facts about GMO's in this 13 minute video.
