DC Black Bloc Joins Forces with the 1%

Occupy DC at McPherson Square celebrated their 6 month anniversary by switching sides and marching in support of the 1%.  The Black Bloc Infiltrates the march halfway through and refrains from eating any of the 1% ers for lunch.  Thank you Food Not Bombs.

The initial action of NOW DC ( http://NOWDC.org )  100 or so people marched from Franklin Square to the Environmental Protection Agency to tell them to do their job for a change.  Whistle blowers and industry insiders spoke to culture of STFU that has allowed corporations to rape the planet of resources for immediate financial profit with no consideration of the health of the future generations.

Ecosystem Restoration Task Force Concentrate

On February 28th the Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Task Force held public meeting for about 12 hours.  The initial hours were all about government presentations about various aspects of the ecosystem and constant reminders that this process was and will be a bottom up process with the people who are affected and the people who are doing the work steering the cart of recovery.

Most of the people speaking here are representing one of the multitude of non profit organizations that are and have been working on gulf coast restoration for years. ~ Download

On their website, try to find public comment or any info regarding the UN safety of the Gulf or the Seafood.  Try to find out anything regarding the known, independently proven health effects imposed on the Gulf Coast residents by BP et al.  Try to find actual transcripts or videos of anything that goes on at these "meetings".  Do Not Attempt this unless you have a lot of time to kill for nothing or unless you are currently working for the corporate government.

I found this online last night and decided to embed it here because the page it was on was popping up a lot of ads I've added nothing to this.  The ads that involved with this film come with the embed code, but there are much fewer of them than when I watched.
DO NOT CLICK THE DOWNLOAD OR PLAY ADVERTISEMENT IN THE MIDDLE. CLOSE THAT AD BOX WITH THE LITTLE "X" AT THE UPPER RIGHT OF THE AD.. YES ITS AN AD.. DECEPTIVE AS HELL

  Every person facing the decision of leasing their land to the Gas Company seriously NEEDS to watch this first cause after you sign the paper, it's just to damn late.



Also, when you click the play button a window will pop up BEHIND this one, it has audio Advertising on it. You can just close that window. I'm sorry about the ads, they are not my doing. I would NEVER post something with this much advertising on it unless it was worth it. Once you get this thing started there are no more ads to deal with.
